About This Gallery
On May 15, 2022, the Union County Historical Society hosted its annual Student Awards Presentation to honor
outstanding high school seniors from across Union County. The Selection Committee, chaired by former UCHS President Charles Shallcross
and board member Richard Esperon, reviewed applications and selected four exemplary students.
This year’s recipients were Tatiana DiLollo and Heavyn Kamora Foster (Rahway High School),
Elizabeth Miller (Union County Magnet High School), and Amelia Moraghan (Mother Seton High School).
Each student received a certificate, commemorative publications, a poster highlighting Union County Courthouse history,
and a scholarship check from the Society. The ceremony is featured in UCHS Newsletter Issue #166.

Our longtime friend and Society Treasurer, Bill Frolich, sadly passed away on September 30th 2021. He was 101 years old, a 45-year member of UCHS, and the writer/editor of our Newsletter. Bill and his extraordinary knowledge of Union County history will be greatly missed.
