Project Description

Held indoors due to inclement weather, the Union County Historical Society’s 2018 Picnic brought together about 30 members and guests inside Hanson House for a warm afternoon of conversation and shared food. Originally planned for Hanson Park, the rain shifted the event indoors, but the atmosphere remained festive thanks to contributions from members like Barbara Sokol and Bette Hulighan. White Castle sandwiches replaced the usual grilled fare, and the menu included deviled eggs, salads, and desserts. This gathering is documented in Issue #145 of the UCHS newsletter.
