On Sunday, August 4, 2019, members of the Union County Historical Society gathered at Nomahegan Park in Cranford for the annual summer picnic. As noted in Issue #151 of the UCHS newsletter, the picnic offered a laid-back atmosphere for attendees to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the park grounds. Our longtime friend and Society Treasurer, Bill Frolich, sadly passed away on September 30th 2021. He was 101 years old, a 45-year member of UCHS, and the writer/editor of our Newsletter. Bill and his extraordinary knowledge of Union County history will be greatly missed.
