May 2021 Meeting – Show & Tell
Date: May 2021
About This Gallery
In May 2021, the Union County Historical Society hosted a “Show & Tell” style meeting under a tented outdoor pavilion.
Members brought personal items, artifacts, and heirlooms to display and discuss, creating a lively atmosphere of shared history and reflection.
From antique books to family keepsakes and local curiosities, each item revealed a deeper layer of Union County’s collective memory.
This gathering also marked one of the Society’s first in-person events following the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, making it a meaningful reunion for many.

Our longtime friend and Society Treasurer, Bill Frolich, sadly passed away on September 30th 2021. He was 101 years old, a 45-year member of UCHS, and the writer/editor of our Newsletter. Bill and his extraordinary knowledge of Union County history will be greatly missed.
